"9/11" is two hours and sixteen minutes of amazing footage. On the morning of September 11, 2001, french brothers Jules and Gedeon Naudet were working on making a documentary about a rookie New York City firefighter. Hearing a roar in the sky, Jules turned his camera upward - just in time to film the only existing image of the first plane crashing into the World Trade Center Tower 1. With cameras rolling, the Naudets follow NYC firefighters into the heart of what would become known as Ground Zero.
If you've never seen this unique documentary, made WHILE the attacks and their immediate aftermath were actually happening, keep in mind as you're watching it, they did not know what we know now, or even what we knew from watching the news a few hours after it happened, as they were filming. In remembrance of September 11, 2001, we suggest watching "9/11". We own two DVD copies.
