Waterford residents with a valid library card can access two different collections of downloadable books.
Download Destination: has eBooks and audiobooks
Recorded Books: has audiobooks
Download Destination is a group of libraries in the TLN Consortia that collects, organizes and provides access to free downloadable eBooks and audiobooks to consortium members. Services and the Download Destination website are provided by OverDrive.
To use Download Destination you need:
- a valid Waterford Township Public Library card
- the PIN to your library card
- Internet connection
Our Overdrive collection, also known as Download Destination, includes both eBooks, which can be loaded onto most eBook Readers, and downloadable digital audiobooks you can put on a portable player and listen to. Use and find out about our Overdrive collection here.

Waterford Township Public Library only provides Download Destination for users in our service population area due to our licensing agreement with Overdrive.
