Volunteer at the Library
Occasionally, the library has a need for volunteers to help with a variety of jobs. If you are interested in volunteering at the library, a Volunteer Information Form must be submitted. Forms are available at the circulation desk or online. Volunteers are notified on an as-needed basis.
Anyone working on community service requirements for school or court must complete a form. Because volunteers are notified on an as-needed basis, we cannot guarantee that all of your required hours will be completed solely at our library by your mandated deadline.
Volunteer work may include any of the following:
| Homebound Visits | "Read Aloud" Program for Seniors (at Lourdes) |
| Craft Preparation | Assistance at Children's Programs |
| Light Clerical (e.g., collating, stamping, cutting) | Reminder Phone Calls |
| Serving Refreshments (special programs) | Shelf-reading |
| Friends of the Library Book Sales | Friends of the Library Used Book Drop-off Days |
| Straightening/Maintaining Shelves |
