Important News for NetLibrary Media Center users

NetLibrary logoIf you have downloaded and installed NetLibrary's Media Center software on your computer for downloading titles from NetLibrary, please be aware that effective May 20, 2010, NetLibrary will no longer support Media Center Versions and lower. If your version of Media Center is or lower, you will need to uninstall the software and reinstall the most current version to continue accessing eAudiobooks.

To determine if your version is supported, please launch Media Center and refer to the version numbers located in the lower left corner of the Media Center interface. If your version is not supported, you will need to uninstall Media Center V1.2.52.3 or lower. To do this on your computer:

  • Windows XP: Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
  • Windows Vista and Windows 7: Go to Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features

Download this file to your computer and then start it to run the installation process to install the latest version of Media Center on your computer. 

By reinstalling Media Center, you will be able to take advantage of new features, including support for iPods and the ability to place holds on eAudiobooks checked out by other users. The new version also includes performance improvements, improved search capabilities, and provided support for Windows 7 users.

NetLibrary will continue to support all versions of Media Center until May 20, 2010. But remember, you must upgrade Versions or lower by May 20, 2010 to ensure continued access to your favorite titles.
