Gale Virtual Reference Library  
Encyclopedias and specialized reference books (about forty of them) for multidisciplinary research. These reference materials once were accessible only as printed volumes in the library, but now you can access them online through the library 24/7.  Subjects covered include science, religion, social sciences, medicine, and more.
 
ReferenceUSA – Business 
A large directory containing detailed information on more than 12 million U.S. businesses. Can be searched and limited by many different criteria, such as, company name, geographic area, yellow pages heading, SIC, size of business, phone number, and more. Updated annually. For adults, college and high school students.

A directory of address and telephone listings of 102 million U.S. residents from more than 3,900 white pages telephone directories. Can also be searched by phone number and used as a reverse directory. Updated several times a year. For all ages.

World Book Online 
This database includes all articles from the 22-volume print set of World Book Encyclopedia with an additional 8,000 more. It includes 11,000 pictures and maps, more than 100 videos and animations, and links to periodicals and Web sites. Other features include a Spanish language encyclopedia, a dictionary, current events articles, and helpful information about how to cite articles for reports. For all ages.
