Candidates for the Library Advisory Board

The Library Advisory Board members are appointed by the Township Board of Trustees. Each serves a term of 3 years, limited to 2 consecutive terms. Board members are not paid to serve. A member of the Township Board serves as liaison to the Library Board. The Board meets on the fourth Wednesday of the  month at 5:30p in the Library's Conference Room, January through October. The final meeting of the year is on the 1st Wednesday of December.

The goal of the Library Advisory Board is to provide the best possible library service to the citizens of the community. The board does this through review with the Library Director of current library operations and proposed service development as well as through advocacy support with state and federal legislators.  The advisory board may also make policy recommendations to the township board of trustees.
