Hiral with Henna

Interested in learning more about henna design?

Hiral Henna will be here on Tuesday, July 13th at 2:00 pm to talk to teens about henna design. Teens w
ill learn about the history, traditions and the current use of henna. Each participant will also leave with a small henna design done by Hiral. Class size limited to 15 teens, so register now!

The class will be held in the Main Library's community room. Register by calling the Adult Reference Desk at 248-618-7693.

Teen Summer Reading starts today!

Looking for something to do this summer? How about taking part in our Teen Summer Reading program? Stop by the Main or Branch library to pick up a bag of goodies and you're ready to begin!

The program runs from June 21^st to August 9^th. This packet contains a registration card, raffle tickets, information about our summer programs and booklists for reading ideas.
For every book you read, fill out a raffle ticket and place in the box in the Teen area. You may also fill out the forms and submit them online at:

Babysitting Class for Teens

The American Red Cross will be here on Saturday, June 19th to present a babysitting workshop for teens 11-15. The class will run from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm and will be held in the Main Library's Community room. Teens will also need to bring a sack lunch.

Cost is $25 which includes a training manual and babysitter first aid and safety kit.
