The Library has ebooks

Do you have a Kindle, iPad, Nook, or Android tablet? Did you know you can borrow ebooks from the library to put on your device? You can! Go to our Download Destination site, powered by Overdrive. You'll need to be a Waterford or Lake Angelus resident, and know your library card number and pin. And you'll likely need to use the "Help" feature at the upper right part of  the Download Destination home page to see how to do it. There are help videos available to view, also. Tip: once you're ready to check something out, if you want to find something that is available for checkout right then, use the advanced search, pick your format, check off the box that says "only show titles with copies available", and then click "search".  Due to the high demand for copies of library ebooks you'll often have to place a hold and be on a waiting list for popular titles.  If you get stuck or have trouble, come on in to the adult reference desk, or give us a call - we'll do our best to help.
