Tail Wagging Tutors

Tail Wagging Tutors is an ongoing program to give kids ages 5-10, who are struggling with their reading skills, the opportunity to read aloud to a dog volunteer for 10-12 minutes in a nonjudgmental environment.

A real dog will be here with their owners to listen to kids read. Currently we only have two dogs available, one on Wednesday from 4:30-5:30, and another on Saturdays from 2:00-3:00.   These time may vary as the volunteers' schedules change.

Register for one 15 minute session per week.  Please be on time for your session.  If you are late, we will not be able to extend your session as other children may be waiting.

For more information and to register for a session, please call the Children's Department at 248-618-7692.

irs logoUpdate: We now have all the major forms that we normally carry, including 1040-ES, the form for estimated tax for individuals, and City of Pontiac resident and non-resident forms.

Michigan 1040 booklets (which contain forms and instructions) and Michigan home heating credit booklets came in today. The federal 1040-EZ instruction booklets also came today and the federal 1040-A instruction booklets came in last week.  The only major things we're lacking at this point are the federal 1040 booklets and the 1040 schedule A forms.
